About Dr. cory

Dr. Cory Reddish is a licensed naturopathic physician in both California and Washington. She received her doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Dr Cory founded the Uptown Center of Natural Medicine and Uptown Natural Pharmacy in Port Townsend, WA, in 1999, where she enjoyed a thriving practice. She has been a guest faculty member at several colleges and retreat centers, such as Esalen, Port Townsend School of Massage, and Olympic College. She relocated to Mill Valley, CA in 2005.

Renowned for her vibrant approach to natural healing—spreading awareness while having fun along the way—she brings potent energy and experience to her medical practice. Dr. Cory serves patients of all ages and conditions with the understanding that it is necessary to find and treat the root causes of illness, not simply the symptoms. Working with the healing power of nature to restore health and vitality through nutritional supplementation, dietary modification, therapeutic cleansing, herbal medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and counseling, Dr. Cory assists her patients by integrating healing changes and removing the barriers to well-being. Her personal explorations in yoga and Ayurveda further shape this treatment approach. She has studied with Shamans from Columbia and Peru, and learned traditional healing methods from across the globe.

In 1999 she developed a gentle, effective and fun 2-week rejuvenation and renewal cleanse program—Essential Cleanse—through which she has since coached 100s of people with glowing results. Of late, she has added residential transformational cleansing and detox retreats to her repertoire.

Dr Cory was recently recognized as the first green healthcare business in Marin County by the Bay Area Green Business Council and as an environmental health advocate through the Teleosis Institute.

She joined the team at Transcendentist in 2008 to help them develop their mercury detoxification program, and currently practices in San Francisco with a focus on clinical detoxification for heavy metals and environmental toxins.

She fulfills her commitment to inspiring health and happiness in the lives of those around her, on-stage as Afterchakra with the Shamanic Cheerleaders, and off-stage as Dr Cory, licensed Naturopathic Doctor.
