Greetings, I’m Dr. Cory
NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR I NATURAL PRODUCT EXPERT I EXPLORER I LOVER OF A LAUGH
Aka Dr. Cory Reddish, ND, a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with 25+ years of experience as a naturopathic doctor, and 30+ years experience in the natural product arena.
I have a BS in Biology from UC San Diego and a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR (now NUNM) .
As an expert in natural medicine, I bridge the gap between natural and conventional approaches. I like to meet people where they are AND support and push them a little bit to expand what they think is possible for themselves to have an AHA! experience of their body’s true healing potential and the power of natural medicine.
This is my happy place.
My holistic approach to health includes extensive experience with various cleansing and detoxification methods as well as environmental medicine. I am well-versed in functional medicine testing, using it as a gateway to identify imbalances in body systems, particularly the digestive system. But I am also rooted in deep nature cure and the old ways.
By integrating naturopathic and functional medical approaches with traditional systems like Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, homeopathy and herbalism with a humanistic (and realistic) approach, I create comprehensive and effective treatment plans to promote greater health.
I have had practices in Port Townsend, WA, Mill Valley, CA and most recently, Venice, CA.

A few things you should know about me…
At present…
I currently call Ojai, California home and love being surrounded by its natural beauty, rich farm-food culture, and groovy people.
I also don’t mind the commute to Los Angeles from time to time to care for patients there, including providing in-home IV therapy.
Firefighter Health & Detox Support
Some of the most meaningful work of my career has been supporting firefighters and first responders in the aftermath of the Palisades and Eaton Fires. I first served as a volunteer doctor with Integrative Healers Action Network (IHAN), which partnered with Acupuncturists Without Borders to provide acute care for smoke inhalation toxicity, stress, and detoxification.
This work evolved into a deeper clinical role, and I became one of the medical practitioners providing treatment and oversight for the Pasadena cohort of IHAN’s 12-week Firefighter Detox Pilot Program, funded by the Phase One Foundation. The program combines comprehensive naturopathic care with advanced testing to address toxic burden, recovery, and long-term health risks faced by firefighters.
IHAN physicians were honored with Physician of the Year awards from both the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA). I’m deeply proud to be part of this organization and its groundbreaking work.
Harm Reduction & Party Medicine
In 2004, I created Dr. Cory’s Party Pax—a line of nutritional and herbal formulas designed to support recovery after festivals, parties, and psychedelic experiences. What began as a way to keep my friends healthy at Burning Man grew into a broader expression of my belief in harm reduction at the physiological and biochemical level: have your fun, and take care of your body too.
For many years, I fused my two worlds—performer and physician—providing injections and IV therapy at music festivals, conferences, Burning Man, and private events. I’m also a long-time explorer of traditional entheogenic plant medicines as a path to healing, a journey that began after a near-death experience in 1999. As psychedelic-assisted therapy continues to evolve, I’ve expanded the Party Pax line to include formulas designed to thoughtfully support this emerging therapeutic landscape. I also regularly present and teach on harm reduction and party medicine for my medical colleagues, helping bring practical, physiology-based guidance into professional clinical conversations.
A little more about me…
Beyond my professional achievements, I am an adventurer, world traveler, surfer, dancer, yogi and explorer of the mystical. I love to cook and experiment with allergen-free desserts.
Food shopping and discovering new products to turn my friends and patients onto is one of my favorite things.I am a big fan of animals, and am a godmother to many. If there is a petting zoo in a town, I will most certainly visit.
I am also a writer, performer, comedian and former co-creative director and performer with the Shamanic Cheerleaders- a Bay Area based ‘conscious’ performance troupe of yore. I love to entertain and believe in the transformative power of laughter as a way to shift energy and promote healing.
